We work across two council areas in Capricornia to address local issues through collaborative efforts.

Rockhampton Region

The Central Queensland city of Rockhampton supports 79,293 people. (ABS 2021)

The subtropical region is an amalgamation of Rockhampton, Gracemere, Mount Morgan, and their surroundings. The economy is comprised predominantly of Agriculture, Military, Tourism, and Mining.

Colonised in 1853 for grazing, the land is the traditional home of the Darumbal and Gangulu people.

Livingstone Shire

Livingstone Shire’s reach extends north to Marlborough, down along the east coast of Rockhampton, and back through to Nerimbera. A rapidly growing population of over 44,000, Livingstone is expected to reach 63,000 people by 2032.

Tourism and Timber make up the main industry.

The traditional land of the Durumbal people and the Woppaburas, whose lands are on Greater and South Keppel Islands.
