Stronger Places, Stronger People (SPSP) is a community-led, partnership initiative designed to improve the lives of children and their families. Capricornia SPSP is a part of the national SPSP initiative, supported by the Australian Government’s Department of Social Services in partnership with the Queensland Government. What is this all about?
Capricornia SPSP is one of ten communities across Australia that are developing the Stronger Places, Stronger People initiative.
SPSP enables all stakeholders, including community members, local organisations, business, industry, and government, to collaboratively design and lead a place-based strategy and action plan to disrupt disadvantage and create better futures for children and their families.
SPSP is based on a Collective Impact and Community Development model.
How does this work?
